After the screening, there will be an active discussion that promises to be fun, thought provoking & prompts us all to take action.
The Competition is the first film documenting the tense developments that characterize architectural contests. Jean Nouvel, Frank Gehry, Dominique Perrault, Zaha Hadid and Norman Foster are selected to participate in the design of the future National Museum of Art of Andorra. Shot in 2009 by a team of Spanish architects turned novice moviemakers, it offers a rare and comical look at the inner workings of some of the most prestigious firms in the business and sheds light on the ways that architects carefully curate their public images.
